Weigh In Day

Busy day today, doing last minute errands before we go on our break. I'm sure I will have forgotten something!

But I managed to squeeze in weigh in at Weight Watchers and a quick 5km at the gym.

Another great loss for me this week. I'm now 85.4kg which is 400grams off my goal of being 85kg before Italy but hey, I still have 3 days to go - I might lose some weight before I go. I will try my hardest, although I am happy with my result anyway.

Went to the gym also and did 5km @ 9 km/h pace which is 0.5 km/h more than I usually do. I need to challenge myself more as I have been jogging at 8.5 km/h for ages. It felt okay, it was harder but I wasn't falling off the treadmill so that's got to be good!!! I completed the 5km knackered but great and the recovery period after was fine so I think that will be my new pace for the next while.

I am thinking about Dinner tonight and it looks like it will be roasted potato & butternut squash with Chicken & Green Beans. Wish it was ready now, I hate waiting, that's when I start picking & eating random things while waiting for it too cook!
Self Control!

That's it for today, got to start washing, folding, and sorting out 4 peoples clothes for the trip. Yay.....NOT!

Im Back and ready to get back on track!!!

Well well well

I have been so slack, for the last few weeks that I don't even know where to start.

I did weigh in last Tuesday (12/10/2010) which was 13st 8lbs (86.2kg.

Not had much of a good week as Chiaras B'day was full up of treats and leftovers the day after. I had no self control not to eat them. I managed only 1km of running which is shocking but maybe I needed a break to kick myself up the bum again!

Yesterday, Terri & I completed a 10km fun run in aid of Cancer Research UK. WOW! What a buzz!!! Crossing the line was an awesome feeling. I completed it in a time of 1hour 6 mins 1sec. It was a personal best so very very HAPPY! A natural high!

The run has spurred me back into action again, just in time for the descent to Italy where there are so many treats that I love. This will be very testing, but I will be very happy as long as I stay the same weight wise. I definitely don't expect to lose but if by chance I stay the same, I will be well stoked!

Terri took some more photos of me yesterday to see the difference in my weight loss.
The pic on the left is me in January 2010 and the right hand side is me in October 2010. What do you think?

Weigh in Results

Well, Tuesday a couple of days ago and I haven't updated the blog. I lost 800gms which takes me to 86.8kg.

Im a little disappointed with that t be honest though because I had done more running this week than any other week.

So, with last weeks 200gms of that is only a loss of 1kg over 2 weeks, Its not good enough! MUST TRY HARDER.

My goal of being 85kg before Italy is looming and to even get to that goal I must now lose at least 900gms for 2 weeks. Its gonna be tough but I will give it a new go!

Hi

Well its been a week since I last posted. Sorry for being so lazy, and it shows.

Just had weigh in today and lost just 200grams. Sort of expected though as I had a couple of bad days during this week. Thank god I had done some exercise or else it would definitely had been a gain.

I'm taking it into perspective as a good thing because it has been 7 weeks of not gaining weight so for this week 200grams off is 200 grams off! This has given me great motivation for this week and I promise you a great loss this time next week - GUARANTEED!!!

Ran 10kms yesterday and that was a great boost for me. I needed to test myself to see if I could do it and because I had become so comfortable doing the 5km that I never wanted to go any further. It took me 1hr 10mins 30secs but I got there and I felt great afterwards even if my feet weren't feeling too flash. I was walking like a granny last night, but feeling back to normal today so all good!

Dinner tonight of Spinach & garlic Omelette with chicken Strips. Can't wait.

Must remember to drink water, I think I would lose more if I remember this daily...

Terri is back down this week so I am going to get her take some pics of me to compare from the day 1 pics. I hope we can notice the difference!

For today... Ciao xxx

Just in Starbucks...

Enjoying my drink. Just had weigh in and lost 1kg taking me to 87.8kg. Very happy with today's result.

Right it's now 1 month until we go to Italy so my goal is to be 85kg or less. I think that is an achievable goal. Plus that means my 10km is less than a month. Arrgghh. Better pull finger!

Starving.....

Well I'm sat here starving. The kids are having milk & croissants and I'm just drooling. It's weigh in day @ 1pm so I dont eat at all the morning of the weigh in. I'm not sure if it makes any difference but its my Tuesday routine. Hopefully if I lose will treat myself to my usual at Starbucks (Grande Skinny Cappucino with 1 pump of Caramel - if you want to buy me one!) I will probably get one if I dont lose as well. haha.

Well, I mamaged to enter myself into the 10km fun run. I had been stalling myself and trying to think of things why I shouldnt enter, but I did it and it cost £19.50 to enter, so I better bloody do it. You get a free t-shirt and medal and part of the entry fee goes to Cancer Research UK too!

Well better get ready, drop DD off at Nursery and straight to WW. Im sooo nervoussssss.

Thanks to Terri......

I managed to run 7km's today.

Haven't felt the love for the gym the past week, although I haven't missed a session.
Told OH this morning that I didn't want to go and he said 'have a day off' but I think he said that as he probably thought it was the right thing to say at the time.

Was chatting with Terri and said the same to her and she told me to go and dared me to run 6.5km instead of the usual 5km. Anyhow got myself and the kids to the gym ontime and started the run. Was ready to call it quits after 2km but perserverd and manage to do the 6.5 but decided to round it off to 7km! I'm so happy - didn't ever think I could pass the magical 5km!

I know it's only 2km extra but I'm really feeling it today. Even had a Radox bath this Arvo. Oh well, suppose that's the start of my 10km run I think I'm going to do mext month.

Today's gym session has got me motivated again and my binge from the other night is just a distant memory.

Onwards and upwards...
