Just got back from Gym, it took a lot of persuasion to go today. I was not feeling it at all.
But I got there, and did my 5kms in 37mins 10 secs. That is my best time so I am really rapt! Im glad I went now, because I was contemplating about going swimming instead. This is great motivation for me to start the week!
I have gym again tomorrow as I cant go Wednesday so Im going to try my best to do it in under 37 mins. Even if it is 36:59!
That is all - just wanted to share my little acheivement.
I have WW meeting tonight, so looking forward to that too.

Sunday Weigh In
92.6kg today which is 500grams off.
Very Happy with that. i was really worried since the blowout on Thursday but I pulled in the reins Friday & Saturday and hopefully that made up for it. I can't help thinking though what my loss would have been if I had been good but it doesn't matter.
As long as I'm in the 80's for Race Day which is 2 weeks away I will be so so happy.
92.6kg now - need to get to 89.9kg. That's 2.7kg to lose 1.4kg each week. Bit optimistic but it WILL be done!
Off to a kids birthday party today so have to keep away from the food table and remember its for the kids not me!!!
Have dinner sorted for tonight - Sweet & Sour Beef Stir Fry with Basmati Rice. Can't wait for dinner already. I'm doing it from scratch so I know whats going into it and I will be able to 'point' it out.
Ah well that's it for today. Will report back tomorrow. x

Catch Up
Well, I haven't been on for a few days so I thought I better update, although nothing spectacular has happened!
Wednesday, managed to get to the Gym but I think the combination of wearing the wrong sports bra and that the air con wasn't working; I cracked.
Managed 2 kms on treadmill before giving up. Went and did the cross trainer for 15 mins before jumping on the treadmill again for another bout and managed 1km more.
I don't know what happened during these exercises or whether it was the gym or the treadmill but I have done something to my foot. The bone at the back of my foot is really sore to touch and I am sort of limping at the moment. I thought it may sort itself out before the next session but as of today (Friday) it is still sore.
Thursday, the family went for a day trip outside of London and did a trip on a Steam Train. Was an awesome day but all my resistance to be good failed. Big Time!!!
I made a sort of picnic lunch for us but we ended up at a cafe to have coffee and we ended up ordering all sorts! I ate Hot chips, a muffin, cappuccino plus I ate the picnic as well!! We ended up having a drink as well at a pub so add 2 glasses of Red wine too (was worth it tho - haven't had a drink in months!). Got home had a massive plate of Pasta which OH made so would have had loads of butter or oil and Parmesan Cheese, then I thought 'Ah well, damage is done might as well continue' So I did. I ate 2 (yes that's right not 1 but 2) desserts. OK so they were Weight Watchers Deserts but that doesn't matter, there was no need to have 2, I was so full up from the Pasta I really didn't need them. I did share them with the kids but I am pretty certain I had 90% of them. Gluttony at it's best aye.
So I woke up this morning feeling ill (not really) just thinking about what I ate yesterday that I kicked myself in the arse and started afresh!
We had gym today but my foot is still not 100% so decided to go swimming. I really enjoyed it. I did 45 minutes in the pool just doing breast stroke. I tried 2 lengths of freestyle and I was buggered!
Although it is still exercise, I didn't feel the high after doing my 5kms probably because I wasn't sweating up a storm or huffing and puffing but it's better than nothing. Better than sitting at home watching Jeremy Kyle!
So our new local Starbucks officially opened today and all week I have been looking forward to going after the Gym but when I arrived it was packed! I think everyone had the same idea as me. So I didn't bother and we came home. Ah well at least I saved myself £2.15.
So came home and had Garlic Mushrooms on toast for my lunch with a diet coke and for dinner made a home made Minestrone with Potatoes, Courgette, Carrots, Celery, Onion, Garlic, Tin of tomatoes and some herbs (Parsley & bay leaves) and with some chicken stock. It is so yum and I have made a mega pot full so hopefully should last me for lunch and dinner tomorrow.
I'm in panic mode for weigh in on Sunday because of my mega binge on Thursday.
Trying to be good, I'm off to bed in a minute and my tummy is rumbling but I will just ignore it until tomorrow morn, Im sure it will pass.
Good Nite, until tomorrow xxxx

Boring Tuesday
Today was a non event - Stayed indoors all day because the weather is not that great!
I did notice that whilst at home, I'm in the kitchen all the time just 'hovering' looking in the same cupboards 20 times like something miraculously is going to appear. I think about food more often when at home.
I have to keep myself busy so, I cranked up my music and cleared out all the cupboards in the kitchen and gave everything a good wipe over. Found about 20 containers of the chocolate Nescafe toppings that you get in the Cappuccino boxes. Anyone want them???
Gym again tomorrow and on Thursday we are all going for a day trip out of London to Tunbridge Wells which is about 1 hour south east of London. This will be testing. Think I might make some food from home to take and call it a 'picnic'. That way I won't be tempted by takeaways.
Terri, if your reading this - I'm saving myself until you get back to go to GBK. As long as we go once before you head back to NZ I will be happy!
That's it, its 12.30am and have to be up at 8am max to get myself & the kids out the door in time for the gym.

Beetroot Face
Well I went along to Weight Watchers tonight. I weighed in at 92.8kg which is 300gms off since yesterdays weigh in. I won't count this at all though as all scales weigh different but I am enjoying going and staying for the meetings.
Been to the gym again today and really couldn't be bothered, was so tired. But I got through it and did my 5km in 37:51 which is the best time I have done since May. Really happy with that, although really not that fast but its a personal achievement for myself.
Even on the days I'm not feeling motivated or cant be bothered with the gym, I can honestly say after every session, there's not one time I haven't 'buzzed' and thought I wished I had stayed at home. The feeling after a good session is great - a natural high.
I'm sure like most of us, after the gym my face is tomato red for a good half hour before it goes back to normal. When we left today, we went to a clothes shop for a look and my DD goes in a big bold voice 'look Mum, a bright red necklace - the same colour as your face!' Ah nice one! Haha

Weigh in Results
93.1kg today so 1.2kgs off.
I suppose that's a good loss, but to be honest was hoping for more. Hoping for a miracle more like!!! Just getting impatient and probably expecting it to just fall off. Just goes to show it is so easy to put it on, getting it off is twice as hard.

I would love to be 91.9kg next week which would be another 1.2kg loss which is achievable so we shall see how it goes. I will sure try.
Just discover an awesome treat. Frozen Milk Way bars. These are the perfect size for a treat and lower in calories than most chocolate bars. I put them in the freezer and eat them when they are frozen. It takes me longer to eat them, so seems like it is a big portion. If it wasn't frozen, could eat one in 5 secs - easy!Cadbury Creme Eggs are also the bomb when frozen. I cut them in half and eat the middle with a spoon, takes ages to eat. But they are 3.5 points on WW which isn't too bad if account for it.
Well in bed at the moment. Have a gym session tomorrow morning so better get some sleep in.
Will write tomorrow. Good Nite xx
